Our Story
A Sunderland, Ontario golf course built on decades of tradition, community, and a shared love of the game.
IN OPERATION SINCE 1969
Where It All Began
Since 1969, Crestwood Golf Club has been a place where people come together to enjoy the game, spend time outdoors, and be part of a welcoming community in Sunderland, Ontario.
For over two decades, the Grant family cared for and grew Crestwood into what it is today: A course known not just for great golf, but for its approachable atmosphere and strong sense of community.
From beginner golfers learning the game for the first time to leagues, families, and local events, Crestwood became a place people returned to year after year.
Today, that legacy continues under new ownership.
MATT & ASHLEY FAIR
Meet the New Owners
Crestwood is now proudly owned by Matt and Ashley Fair, a local family with deep roots in the course itself.
For Matt, Crestwood is where he learned the game alongside his father. For Ashley, it’s where she first picked up a club. Now, it’s where their own children will grow up around the game.
With a deep respect for everything that’s been built here, the goal is simple: To preserve what makes Crestwood special while continuing to support the community that has made it what it is.
You’ll still find the same welcoming atmosphere, the same familiar faces, and the same love for the game. Just with a new family proud to carry it forward.
We look forward to welcoming you to Crestwood!
